Course Syllabus
This course focuses on understanding the business, policy, and regulatory logic for making the environment and sustainability a core element of corporate management and strategy. Participants will be asked to analyze how and when environmental, energy, and other sustainability issues can be translated into business model innovation and competitive advantage. The course combines talks, case studies, and class discussions on management theory and tools as well as legal and regulatory frameworks shaping the business-environment interface and the requirements for business success in the face of the emerging “sustainability imperative.”
